344 Words, More or Less

All I know about these things is less is more. Subject, verb, then object if any. Stop. Have a breath. Must remember to breathe. Use few. Few as possible. Flammable. The more you know the less you use. Careful with kindling. Do not ignite. Less flammable out There when they don’t go out from in placid Here on fire. Keep it honest. That helps. When in doubt keep it honest. Honesty uses fewer words. No one gets burnt that way, except maybe you, Dragon. No one likes forked truth, but it usually is. Sometimes I think commas are the breath between voices. Dialect. I translate. My mission of late is to remove commas. I must find a voice with which to speak as one, for now. It gets noisy. So many voices to unite. We have an agreement but still, everyone talks at once, even when they know they’re not supposed to, stop it. Everyone inhale or get out, we’re working can’t you see? One at a time, please. Remember? Hands. I only have the manual dexterity for one pen at a time. One at a time, for now, but we have so many files. We’re working out our commas making bigger piles, pyres, piles. Don’t put that word to a Dragon, so misunderstood.

For now one voice. Fewer words. Few commas. I love you remember, I love you, I understand your fires. It’s a wonder you’re not mad. Now shut up, especially about those pyres, now I’m thirsty, see what you did? Musie said I should stack my words. Less flammable, more breaks but fewer cuts. Easier to let and set down. Sometimes they line up in the right order and don’t catch fire. Still, Musie likes her fair share of blood, very careful. I have holes in my ceiling. I am making more floor space for dance. Pyres of longanimity, shreds of boa. Whose scale is this? Say nothing of popsicle stands nor sticks to youknowwho until we are ready for launch.
