Ellipses & Splicing Fids

Dear Musie,

Are you okay? I finally picked up Amani’s book again and I must again congratulate you on a job well done. Your professional touch shines throughout, M’Lady of High Editorshipness. Well done! –Although, I did find a typo on page 33 and felt it necessary to check in. I thought it may have been a signal. Are you okay? I have my fids and fathoms of extra line at the ready. I’m here if you need me. On the ropes, Musie, on the rope.–

When you get back from Mexico City we have some work to do and yet another mystery to solve, some real Scooby Doo bibliomancy kind of stuff… So don’t get hit by a scooter. Look all ways on all planes before crossing those teeming streets. Don’t forget to pay Our homage to Dear Frida and Leonora and Our Lady of Guadalupe!

Me? I’m afraid there’s not much left as I’ve been away for too long. Too many miles and layers in one shot. I’m absolutely knackered and out of music. I’m road weary and disoriented. I’ve been badgered and hassled to death and, as you know, it’s only a matter of seconds before I’m beckoned to the next crisis or catastrophe. There’s one now… I’m lucky if I can sit long enough to read even one line of poetry and I haven’t shaved in weeks. Too much of a hurry. Hurry, hurry, hurry, disruptive hustle & hurry, and you know how hurry grinds us to a halt.

Well, I’m being summoned, again, so more later. I promise. I know how you detest ellipses so I won’t let them stand for long. I hope to steal a sliver of peace tonight. I’ve been dreaming again as if Nia is near. Fingers crossed. That’s all for now but soon we’ll talk…

Take your time, unwind. You and your Guardian Michael have a safe trip and ENJOY! We’ll have our detritus run down the beach with Amani’ when you return.

¡Que tengas un buen viaje!
Much love and bagel crumbs,
On the run, ¡Olé!
